Iowa's Largest Fryin' Pan
In the small town of Brandon, Iowa, there is a roadside attraction that is sure to turn heads: the world's largest frying pan. The pan is 9 feet 3 inches in diameter and 8 feet across the base, and it weighs 1,020 pounds. It is made of scrap steel that was donated by local farmers, and it was built in 2004 by a group of volunteers as a promotional tool for the town's semi-annual Cowboy Breakfast fundraiser.
